The description: the Pre-revolutionary edition of the catalog of Russian crosses and holy pictures from Hanenko B. I and Hanenko V. N's collection.

The present edition constituted in Kiev and in general in the south of Russia concludes in itself monuments of mainly Russian-Byzantian religious art in before Tatarian period of Russian history. But is between them and such monuments from which one precede before Tatarian to the grand-ducal period of the Russian-Byzantian art and ordinary name "Corsunskiy", and others follow this period and to belong to mainly northern Russia, especially to Moscow.
 Thus in the present collection three differ non-uniform by quantity of subjects of group: I. Korsunsky; II. Kiev grand-ducal before Tatarian the period; III. Old Russian in particular the Moscow monuments
