The description: the Book has been prepared during pre-war time by numismatist Alexander Nikolaevichem Zografom. The book consists of 2 parts, the first is devoted to the general questions of antique numismatics – occurrence history, the antique technics of manufacturing, monetary systems, types of coins, systematisation and dating questions. The second part is devoted actually scientific interests of the author – numismatics of northern Black Sea Coast. Despite solid age both theory essentially updated since then and the numismatics practice, the given work has not lost till now the value, remaining thus our first capital work on this theme – transfer of the given work into English language testifies to it in Oxford, in 1977.
